July 13, 2010: Lightroom 3 Workshop
Lee Varis and Daniel Sofer will spend an evening discussing the new features and improvements of the latest version of Adobe's photo editing program, Lightroom 3.
Lee will start off with a quick overview of Lightroom organization and the Library module - importing, ranking, filtering, etc... he will spend a fair amount of time exploring the Develop module - the changes in the RAW processing engine, different corrective techniques, the new noise reduction and grain features, etc... Lee will end with a quick go-through of the Slideshow module.
Daniel will discuss the new Tethered Capture feature as well as new exporting features such as direct export to Flickr and other services; and the new custom printing features.
This event will be held at a new location, the Showbiz Store and Café, 500 S. Sepulveda Blvd., near Westwood. The Showbiz Store faces the San Diego Fwy, about halfway between Wilshire and Sunset.
